This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service at the checkout counter, accurately processing purchases, and assisting with the required paperwork and background-check process for firearm transactions in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Operate the cash register and POS system accurately.
• Process cash, credit/debit, and other forms of payment.
• Accurately complete and maintain required firearm transaction paperwork.
• Follow all company procedures and applicable federal, state, and local requirements regarding firearm transactions.
• Verify required identification and documentation according to company procedures.
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling customer information.
• Assist with returns, exchanges, transfers, and other customer-service needs as directed.
• Keep the checkout and customer-service areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Assist the sales team with general retail duties when needed.
• Work as part of a team to provide a positive customer experience.
