Job summary

Shooters World LLC. is seeking a cashier in Tampa to deliver the World’s Greatest Firearm Experience by accurately processing transactions, answering customer questions, and assisting with product inquiries.

The role requires basic math, cash handling skills, and the ability to stand for extended periods; commission is available on top of hourly pay. Training provided in a high-volume retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Description

As the Shooters World Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service. The cashier will scan the customer’s items, ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers products, promotions, or item locations. You will also process refunds and exchanges, as well as perform ATF Form 4473 completion process for all guests at Shooters World. As such, this position is stationed at either the Firearm Transaction or Checkout Area.

This position is eligible for commission on top of hourly rate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver the World’s Greatest Firearm Experience to every customer.
• Accurately process all transaction, including cash, credit cards, gift cards, return, exchanges etc.
• Answer questions about products, services, and promotions.
• Provide accurate information on product availability, pricing, and other related inquiries.
• Ability to operate, demonstrate, and explain merchandise.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Connect with customers by graciously listening to questions or concerns; asking open ended questions; recommending solutions; answering questions and responding to concerns in a timely manner.
• Process special orders and backorders in an efficient manner.
• Ability to monitor inventory and report any discrepancies to management.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
