Job summary

WinCo Foods in Wenatchee, WA is hiring a Self-Checkout Attendant to provide cheerful, efficient service at our checkout lanes and SCO stations. You will process customer orders, handle cash transactions, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked checkout area.

Roles include operating registers, engaging with customers, and occasionally assisting at the customer service desk or SCO lane as needed. Must be 16+ and able to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation including night, weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrates friendly, courteous customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, serve and thank customers.
• Operate check stand equipment to process orders.
• Engage in suggestive selling and other sales techniques.
• Process monetary transactions and maintain cash handling accuracy.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and safe check stands and SCO lanes.
• May work at self-checkout or customer service desk as assigned.
• Follow state and federal laws for restricted items and vouchers.
