Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, processing each customer's order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You will handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and give change, while assisting customers with information and resolving complaints. Your duties also include stocking shelves, facing and dusting, maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items, guiding customers to product locations, and staying informed about store events and seminars. You are expected to keep checkout areas clean and orderly and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and excellent customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and numerical skills.
