Reports To: General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader

The cashier position is critical to the daily success of the restaurant. It’s a guest-facing role; often the first point of contact with the guest beyond the “Welcome to Firehouse” greeting.

Job Requirements

• Excellent menu and product knowledge.
• Accountable for the accuracy of the guest’s order.
• Effective communication with guests and handling questions professionally.
• Proficient use of the POS system.
• Maintaining accuracy of the cash drawer.
• Team player.
• Sincerely thanking guests for their business.
• Participating in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
• Maintaining an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
• Willing to perform other restaurant functions such as food prep or cleaning as directed.
• Adhering to all food safety and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour.
