Job Summary

This seasonal position runs from April to September, performing cashier duties such as making transactions, verifying cash drawers, giving change, and handling cash reports. General food service duties and maintaining sanitation standards are also included.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform sales transactions efficiently.
2. Ensure all sales are accurately recorded in the cash register.
3. Handle payments, give change, and issue receipts.
4. Follow procedures for refunds.
5. Interact positively with customers and resolve complaints.
6. Manage cash funds and ensure compliance with cash handling standards.
7. Observe customer purchases and differentiate portions.
8. Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
9. Stock pastry cases and ensure sanitation compliance.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
