Responsibilities

As a Cashier at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling customer cash, credit/debit payments, and providing information and resolution for customer complaints. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items, store events, and seminars. Maintaining excellent communication with the front end manager and Head Cashier is essential. Additionally, you are responsible for keeping checkout areas clean and orderly and executing any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Display outgoing and friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and strong interaction skills with customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependability and flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work well in a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive activities, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force, for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and numerical skills.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $16.55 - $20.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
