Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking a Cashier to provide excellent customer service at the point of sale. You will handle transactions, maintain product knowledge, and ensure accuracy at the register.

The role also involves assisting with shelf replenishment, floor moves, and merchandising while upholding company standards and a friendly customer experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are required to interact with customers.
• Ability to process information and merchandise through the POS system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service and greet customers at the POS.
• Complete sales transactions accurately and maintain cash accountability.
• Assist in store operations including merchandising and floor stock replenishment.
• Support in receiving and stocking duties and general upkeep.

Job description

The Cashier is responsible for listening and responding appropriately to customer needs, maintaining extensive product knowledge, and exhibiting professionalism at the POS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service standards, possess solid product knowledge, greet and acknowledge every customer, and address any and all concerns by the customer at POS.
• Reinforce a rewarding customer experience.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining all cash accountabilities at registers.
• Assist in various store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.
• Be flexible to occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
