Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a part-time Cashier to provide outstanding service at the Cypress, Texas store. You will greet customers, process transactions at the POS, and help maintain store merchandising and cleanliness.

Key requirements include 1–2 years of retail experience, a high school diploma, and strong verbal and written communication skills. This role supports store operations with flexibility for day/evening/weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service standards, possess solid product knowledge, greet and acknowledge every customer, and address any and all concerns by the customer at POS.
• Reinforce a rewarding customer experience.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining all cash accountabilities at registers.
• Assist in various store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.
• Be flexible to occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
