Job Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at check lanes.
• Understand and operate the POS system, handling various tenders and offers according to company policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay updated on current, upcoming, and seasonal ads.
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or incidents, practicing safety and preventive maintenance.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by assisting with questions and providing excellent service.
• Follow all legal and company guidelines, and work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
