Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a friendly cashier to join our Parkhurst Dining team within Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, renowned for its family-friendly service.

In this role you’ll handle POS transactions, learn menu items and daily specials, greet guests, and assist with bussing and restocking around the checkout area, while keeping the area clean and organized. You’ll balance the cash drawer and follow cash handling policies to ensure accuracy.

• Standing and/or walking — 100% of time.
• Occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Frequently lifting up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and acknowledge their presence immediately.
• Learn and communicate menu items and daily specials to guests.
• Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness around the checkout counters.
• Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including cash, meal plans or swipe, and Cater Trax orders.
• Accurately make change, maintain cash drawer balance, and reconcile cash drawer after each meal.

• Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and Cater Trax orders.
• Accurately make change for all cash-paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal.
