Job summary

Parkhurst Dining is seeking a cashier to join our team in a values‑driven environment. The role emphasizes greeting guests warmly, learning the menu, and supporting a clean, organized front area.

You will manage POS transactions, cash handling, and balance the cash drawer with accuracy at the close of each cycle. This part‑time position offers an hourly wage of $15–$18 based on experience, with a schedule from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in Naperville, IL.

• Acknowledge the presence of our guests immediately, with a friendly greeting.
• Utilize the tools provided to stay organized. Learn menu and daily specials, keeping in close communication with management.
• Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness. Restock/organize areas surrounding the checkout counters.
• Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and CaterTrax orders.
• Accurately make change for all cash‑paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal.
