Job summary

Parkhurst Dining at Chatham is seeking a friendly Cashier to join a values-driven team. You will greet guests, handle POS transactions, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

Evening and weekend shifts are available; employment requires a background check, fingerprinting, and required child clearances. This role offers opportunities for growth within Eat’n Park Hospitality Group.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly welcome.
• Handle cash, meal plan or swipe, and Cater Trax orders at the POS.
• Bus tables and keep areas around checkout clean and organized.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balance and reconcile after meals.

• Acknowledge the presence of our guests IMMEDIATELY, with a friendly greeting.
• Utilize the tools provided to stay organized. Learn menu and daily specials, keeping in close communication with management.
• Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness. Restock/organize areas surrounding the check out counters.
• Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and Cater Trax orders.
• Accurately make change for all cash-paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal.
