Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashier duties including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting receipts, and completing reports. May also perform general food service tasks. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs sales transactions efficiently.
2. Enters all sales accurately into the register.
3. Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
4. Handles cash refunds following standard procedures.
5. Provides friendly customer service and resolves complaints.
6. Manages change funds and cash receipts, ensuring compliance with standards.
7. Monitors customer purchases and differentiates portion sizes.
8. Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness of service areas.
9. Keeps pastry case stocked.
10. Adheres to service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Follows sanitation, ServSafe, and safety regulations.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.
