Lunchtime Solutions, Inc. is hiring a dependable Cashier for the school dining program at Siouxland Christian School in Sioux City, IA.

This on-site role focuses on accurate transactions, friendly service, and helping to maintain a smooth daily meal service during the Monday–Friday schedule. You’ll work with a collaborative team in a supportive environment, handle POS operations, stock your station, and follow cash handling procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Dependability, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using a POS system.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, and other physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process student transactions and manage account balances
• Keep your station stocked and ready while helping serve meals and a la carte items during service
• Follow cash handling procedures and reconcile daily transactions accurately
• Provide friendly, respectful service to students, staff, and customers, helping create a welcoming environment.
• Assist with set‑up and clean‑up before and after meal service
• Support food safety standards and complete basic logs or records as needed
• Communicate with your team and supervisors about inventory, customer feedback, or account concerns
• Jump in where needed—help with stocking, basic kitchen tasks, or supporting teammates
