Job summary

Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in Sand Springs, OK is seeking a friendly cashier to welcome guests, take orders, operate the register, and handle payments quickly and accurately. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on guest service, food safety, and cleanliness.

Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Previous fast-food experience is preferred but not required.

Our Cashiers are motivated, team oriented, friendly, dependable and driven to providing excellent guest service! A qualified candidate will serve our guests hot, fresh food in a clean, safe environment in a friendly, fast manner. Previous fast food experience is preferred but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute genuine greetings and farewells, take orders, operate the cash register, collect payments from customers, and other cash handling duties.
• Make fast, accurate, and consistent orders.
• Comply with all portion sizes, recipes, systems, and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station, and restrooms.
• Always maintain a professional appearance in compliance with the dress code
• Display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Environment:

• Ability to use basic math, addition, subtraction, and understand basic fractions.
• Required to stand for long periods of time, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, listen, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.
