Base pay range

$10.00/hr - $11.00/hr

Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders over the phone and in person, and answering questions that customers may have. Cashiers process customer payments through the Point of Sales (POS) system, anticipate customer needs, and aim to exceed expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests warmly upon entry.
• Communicate menu offerings, limited-time offers, and daily specials.
• Pack and sort to-go orders.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately.
• Process payments properly and provide correct change.
• Keep the cashier area clean and organized before, during, and after shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) Certification.
• Food Handler Certificate.
• Customer-service oriented and a team player.
• Basic math skills.

Computer Skills:

• Familiarity with POS systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk on uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours.
• Speak and listen in person and via radio for extended periods.
• Observe customers from a distance up to 100 feet.
• Lift, stoop, kneel, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
• Carry full trays as needed.

Working Environment:

• Moderate noise, fast-paced, high customer traffic, exposure to cleaning solutions.
