Job summary

SSP America in Salt Lake City International Airport is seeking a Restaurant Cashier for the 5PM–1AM shift. You will process orders, handle payments, and serve drinks and food to guests, while maintaining cleanliness and accurate POS entries.

Experience in cash handling and customer service is helpful. SSP America offers benefits including medical premium coverage and opportunities for advancement in a diverse workplace.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling or frontline customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to process orders quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment and provide appropriate change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks and a variety of food items.
• Assist prep and handling of food for guests.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils, remove trash, sweep and mop as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

At SSP America, our Restaurant Cashier are one of our most important customer service roles. Our Restaurant Cashier are experts at quite a few things including:

• Making our guests' days
• Processing orders quickly and accurately
• Maintaining cleanliness and service standards daily

As a Restaurant Cashier, here are few things you can expect:

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Assist Prep and handling food for guests
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Ensure that the work area is clean throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils, removes trash, sweep and mop work area, dust and clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
