ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate cash register and perform checkout procedures efficiently, accurately, and with friendliness.
• Maintain knowledge of produce codes for fast checkout.
• Assist guests by knowing product locations throughout the store.
• Follow all ID policies for checks, tobacco, alcohol, and WIC.
• Implement security and cash drawer procedures as per company policies and supervisor instructions.
• Bag guest purchases efficiently, following company procedures when necessary.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Weekend shifts are required, including Sundays.
• Minimum age: 16 years; 18 years to sell tobacco and alcohol.
• Certificates/licenses: Tobacco and Alcohol certification preferred; training available.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
