Overview of Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of Sprouts Farmers Market, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete satisfaction through prompt, friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and providing product information and complaint resolution. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining clean checkout areas. Knowledge of weekly ads, store events, and effective communication with management are essential. All related duties as assigned are part of your role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills, receptive to feedback, and team-oriented.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multitasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs., and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. force, for up to 50 hours.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and mathematical skills.
