Job Summary

Summary: Performs cashiering duties, including handling cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas of food prep, service, and dining.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs sales transactions efficiently.
2. Enters sales into the register accurately.
3. Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
4. Handles cash refunds following standard procedures.
5. Interacts with customers and resolves complaints professionally.
6. Manages change funds and cash receipts to meet overage/shortage standards.
7. Observes customer purchases and differentiates portion sizes.
8. Replenishes condiments, beverages, and maintains cleanliness of service areas.
9. Keeps pastry case stocked.
10. Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Follows sanitation, ServSafe, and safety regulations.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
