**Reports to:** General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader.

The cashier position is critical to the daily success of the restaurant. It’s a guest-facing role; often the first touch point with the guest beyond the “Welcome to Firehouse” greeting.

Job Requirements

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent menu and product knowledge.
• Accountable for the accuracy of the guest’s order.
• Effective communication skills with guests, handling questions and concerns professionally.
• Proficient in using the POS system.
• Maintain accuracy of the cash drawer.
• Team player.
• Greet and thank guests sincerely for their business.
• Participate in Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
• Maintain an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
• Willing to perform other restaurant functions such as food prep or cleaning as directed.
• Adhere to all food safety and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Desire to make a difference.

Compensation: $11.00 per hour.
