Summary

The Cashier is responsible for completing sales transactions and supporting functions such as cleaning, stocking, and assisting in other activities as directed by management. This is a non-exempt position.

Essential Functions

• Operate a cash register, process payments, and provide accurate change following HMSHost policies.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services.
• Clean and stock the work area.
• Assist in verifying transactions and operating electronic data processing equipment.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to interact positively with the public and coworkers.
• Physical ability to bend, twist, stand, and lift objects over 10 lbs.
• Good communication skills to understand and convey instructions and policies.
