Job Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons, and checkout procedures according to company policy.
• Adhere to company policies on cash shortages/overages and loss prevention.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with promotions and advertisements.
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Maintain equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and assist with product inquiries.
• Follow all legal and company guidelines and work effectively in a high-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts professionally and act with integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Support vulnerable populations, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range: $15.55 - $16.55 per hour.
