Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of the company, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You will handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide information and assistance to customers. Your duties include following front end procedures, stocking shelves, facing, dusting, and maintaining a clean checkout area. You should be familiar with weekly ad items, store events, and communicate effectively with management and team members. All related duties as assigned are part of your role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and excellent customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills, able to take direction and work in a team.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency with numbers, and cash handling skills.
