Job summary

7th Street Burger is seeking a positive and enthusiastic Cashier who loves to serve and lead in a fast-paced environment. You will count and close the register, process orders through the POS, and collaborate with cooks to ensure accuracy while maintaining a clean front counter area.

Experience in customer service and cash handling is preferred. This is a fast-growing, community-focused spot that values reliable, friendly team members and competitive hourly wages plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count the register – open and closing.
• Close out the register at night.
• Input customer orders into the POS system accurately.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness on counter and in garbage areas.
• Communicate with cooks to ensure order accuracy.
• Support fellow cashiers and collaborate to ensure workflow.
