Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of Sprouts Farmers Market, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. Your duties include handling cash, credit/debit payments, and providing product information and complaint resolution. You will also assist with stocking shelves, facing, dusting, maintaining clean checkout areas, and supporting store events and seminars. Good communication with the front end manager and Head Cashier is essential, along with executing all other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Have an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks, multitasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force, for durations up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, and basic math skills.
