Job summary

7th Street Burger is hiring a Cashier to join our fast-paced New York location. You will count and close the register, accurately input orders in the POS, and handle cash, card, and mobile payments while maintaining a clean counter area.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Food handler certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and cash handling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Count the register - open and closing.
• Close out the register at night.
• Input customer orders into the POS system accurately.
• Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness on counters and in garbage areas.
• Communicate with cooks to ensure order accuracy.
• Support fellow cashiers and collaborate to ensure workflow.

Qualifications:
