Job Summary:

As a Cashier, you’ll be the face of our restaurant—welcoming customers, taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate has previous experience handling cash, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a warm, customer-first attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service
2. Take accurate orders using the POS system
3. Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and issue receipts
4. Maintain a clean and organized front counter and register area
5. Answer basic customer questions about the menu
6. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy
7. Help with packaging orders during rush hours
8. Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications:

1. 1+ year of cash handling and customer service experience required
2. Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills
3. Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
4. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
5. Must obtain a Food Handling Certificate within 30 days of hire (company will cover cost)
