Job summary

Genuine Foods is seeking a Cashier/Barista to serve students and staff in a school setting. You will greet customers, craft beverages, and handle transactions while upholding food safety standards.

You’ll contribute to a friendly culture, promote excellent service, and assist with maintaining a clean, organized workspace in a mid-high volume environment. This role emphasizes reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1 year of food or customer service experience/training in a mid-high volume food service facility or restaurant.
• Willingness to learn the compliance requirements of the USDA National School Lunch Program.
• Able to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness.
• Must be able to work in a school environment.
• Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide great service in a school environment.
• Craft drinks to order with care and accuracy.
• Ring up guests at the cash register and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Ensure food safety standards are followed and maintain a clean work area.
• Restock areas as needed and assist with cleaning duties.
• Support teammates and perform any other duties as assigned.
