Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and other transactions.
• Scan and process customer purchases quickly and accurately.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
• Answer customer questions and resolve issues professionally.
• Promote store loyalty programs and promotions.
• Direct customers to sales associates for additional help.
• Assist with inventory and shelf replenishment as needed.
• Open and close registers daily in accordance with policy and POS procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

As a Retail Cashier, you’ll be the face of Busy Beaver by providing friendly, accurate, and efficient checkout experiences for every customer. You’ll receive and process payments, maintain an organized checkout area, and ensure each customer leaves with a positive impression. Cashiers also assist with customer inquiries, promote store programs, and support store operations as needed.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and values honesty, courtesy, and customer service.

What You’ll Do

This is for a part time position that has the possibilities of full time or advancement in the future. You must be able to work all shifts, which is day shift, night shift, week days and weekends. You must be able to stand at the register at a long period of time, and have great customer skills. Cashiering experience would be great but not necessary. Must be able to pass drug screening and a back ground check. If you feel this is a good job for you.
