Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking friendly and dependable Cashiers to join our team. If you enjoy meeting and greeting people and have a warm personality, this role could be perfect for you. Successful candidates are team players, positive, respectful, and able to handle challenging customers effectively.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

1. Operating the cash register and providing excellent customer service.
2. Maintaining store appearance by rotating stock, tidying, and ensuring the store looks its best.
3. Potential cross-training in receiving, pricing, and stocking donations, which may include lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10-35 pounds frequently.
4. Hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production setting.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) and production or similar experience (preferred). Candidates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Our stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 8 pm.

The position offers a pay rate of $13.50 per hour, along with benefits such as Paid Time Off, a Pension Plan, Medical & Dental insurance, and tuition reimbursement after meeting the waiting period.
