Responsibilities

• Check out customers promptly, courteously, efficiently, and accurately
• Operate equipment and maintain a clean, stocked work area
• Follow posted advertisements and information from the head cashier or manager
• Count tills and maintain the required balance
• Provide friendly customer service and report complaints to management
• Assist customers verbally and physically, and stay alert for shoplifting
• Order and stock products, perform cleaning duties, operate phones and intercoms
• Follow company policies as outlined in training manuals and handbooks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, perform basic math
• Follow instructions
• Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull wheeled vehicles up to 500 pounds
• Reach and stock up to 6 ft high
