Overview of Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of Sprouts Farmers Market. Your duties include processing customer orders quickly and accurately, ensuring complete satisfaction through friendly service, handling cash and card transactions, and assisting customers with product information and complaints. You will also help with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting, and maintain knowledge of weekly ads, store events, and seminars. Maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area and effective communication with management are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills, able to take direction and work in a team.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Strong attention to detail, proficient in cash handling, and numerical skills.
