Job Title: Cashier

Department: Service

Reports To: Service Managers

Summary

A Cashier should be polite, flexible, and accommodating. They should be knowledgeable about the company and its offerings, familiar with special Dealer events, and attentive to guest requests, offering tailored solutions or recommendations.

Essential Duties

• Greet customers entering the Waiting Lobby with a friendly attitude, answer questions, and direct them appropriately.
• Refer customers with questions about work performed or repairs to the service advisor.
• Maintain a clean and tidy Customer Lounge, including straightening newspapers, maintaining the coffee/refreshment area, cleaning spills, and operating the vacuum as needed. Change TV channels as necessary.
• Engage with customers to ensure their comfort and satisfaction, updating them on vehicle repairs and addressing their needs.
• Cashier Duties: Greet customers at the cashier desk, process cash, checks, and credit card payments, make change, issue receipts, and handle refunds or credit memorandums.
