Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking a Cashier in Los Angeles to deliver exceptional customer service at the register. You will greet customers, provide product knowledge, and process sales with accuracy while maintaining cash controls and a welcoming storefront environment.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Training provided on POS systems and merchandising tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service standards and greet every customer at the POS.
• Address customer concerns and reinforce a rewarding shopping experience.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling at registers.
• Assist in store operations: merchandising, floor moves, cleaning, and inventory returns.
• Support replenishment and stock monitoring; participate in receiving floor stock.

Job description

The Cashier is responsible for listening and responding appropriately to customer needs, maintaining extensive product knowledge, and exhibiting professionalism at the POS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding customer service standards, possess solid product knowledge, greet and acknowledge every customer, and address any and all concerns by the customer at POS.
• Reinforce a rewarding customer experience.
• Complete all sales transactions accurately and efficiently, while maintaining all cash accountabilities at registers.
• Assist in various store operations, including floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, cleaning duties when necessary, and returning products to inventory as needed.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.
• Be flexible to occasionally perform work outside your specific role.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
