Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)

Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Customer service experience
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk

Essential Job Functions:

• Greet, engage, and assist customers visibly and actively.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand and operate the POS system, handling various tenders and loyalty offers according to policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and work to control loss.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies.
• Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay informed about current and upcoming promotions.
• Comply with food safety regulations.
• Promote safety by following procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs needed.
