Job summary

Nando's PERi-PERi North America is seeking a friendly cashier to manage cash and card transactions, balance the till, and guide guests through the menu to create memorable experiences.

Job description

The cashier accurately manages cash and credit card transactions and balances the register at the end of the shift. The cashier is a menu expert and guides customer selection, entering information accurately. Cashiers are quick and efficient while warm and gracious, guiding guests to a memorable experience.

Minimum Requirements and Expectations

• Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure

• Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
• Basic English language and professional communication skills are required

Physical Requirements

• Able to independently lift to 15 lbs for an extended period
• Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8‑10 hours per day
• Hand‑eye coordination
• Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping
• Pushing and pulling
• Lifting overhead
• Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels
