Job summary

Goodwill Industries of southeastern Michigan is hiring a Cashier to greet customers, operate the POS, and provide friendly, efficient service on a busy sales floor.

The role includes helping train new cashiers, keeping the floor neat and safe, and handling merchandise with care. Full-time hours average forty per week with benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Six months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Must be willing and able to work days, evenings, and weekends.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers with enthusiasm.
