Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and provide excellent service.
• Enter orders using a cash register POS system.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Count money in the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift; ensure correct change.
• Maintain a well-stocked salsa bar, drink cup lids, and napkins; keep dining room and cashier station clean.
• Keep beverage fridges stocked and clean.
• Upsell products such as sides, drinks, and aguas frescas.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times; ensure a clean work environment.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide information as needed.
• Support the MOD with duty of care and other tasks as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet the customers with \" Bienvenido's\" and a smile


• Entering food orders using cash register POS System


• Handling Cash and credit transactions.


• Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift, Accept cash and return the correct change.


• Maintain a well-stocked salsa bar, drink cup lids, and napkins before and after shift, Clean dining room, and cashier station


• Maintain Beverage Fridges stocked and clean


• Upsell products Sides, Drinks, Aguas Frescas, etc.


• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and follow all food safety and Health & safety guidelines


• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information


• Take pride in serving guests and providing exceptional customer service


• Completes other duties as assigned by the MOD( Manager on Duty)

Requirements

• Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales


• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.


• Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays


• Good math skills


• Basic PC knowledge


• Ability to handle cash and credit transactions


• Ability to stand for long periods


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Hourly rate = $18/hr. + tips
