Job summary

Fields Mercedes Benz of Orange Park is seeking a friendly cashier to join our team and deliver a premium customer experience at the dealership. You will handle payments, process transactions through the dealership computer system, and assist customers at the counter.

This role requires attention to detail, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to communicate customer needs to management. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required; weekend availability may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer’s bill using the dealership’s computer system.
• Process payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Greeting customers and answering phones.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Assist with balancing of the cash drawer and resolve any discrepancies.
• Additional duties include filing, data entry and other similar tasks.
