Responsibilities

1. Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
2. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently through the check lane.
3. Handle various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, Offline SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, loyalty offers, coupons, and checkout procedures per company policy.
4. Adhere to company limits on cash shortages and overages, working honestly to control loss.
5. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
6. Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
7. Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
8. Stay updated on current, upcoming, seasonal, and special ads.
9. Comply with food safety regulations and guidelines.
10. Reinforce safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
11. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
12. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
13. Follow all legal and company guidelines.
14. Work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
15. Manage conflicts reasonably and cooperatively.
16. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
17. Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
18. Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
19. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications
