99 Ranch Market is seeking a Cashier in Hackensack, NJ for a part-time/ full-time role. You will greet customers, scan items, handle cash, and assist with online orders while maintaining store standards.

Applicants should have prior front-end customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Bilingual skills are a plus; work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Previous front end customer service experience preferred.
• College degree or equivalent education.
• Good communication skills and willingness to help customers.
• Able to check and evaluate product quality and notices description.
• Efficient and safe use of equipment.
• Must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 25+ pounds.
• Flexible schedule; work 5 days per week including weekends/holidays.
• Bilingual in Cantonese, Chinese, or Spanish is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers and answer questions professionally.

• Handle returns and exchanges per company policies.
• Manage customer feedback for retention.
• Update prices, batches, price tags and signage in the system.
• Process online orders per procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow internal procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Salary Range: $15.92 To $17.00 Annually

Responsibilities:

• Proactively greet customers, and answer their questions in a professional manner


• Identify product items properly


• Scan customer orders accurately and efficiently


• Follow all cash handling procedures and complete the process accurately and efficiently


• Answers customer inquiries by phone or in person with appropriate etiquettes


• Conducts customer returns and exchanges in compliance with the company policies


• Properly handles customer suggestions and complaints for customer retention


• Review, create and apply new batches. Update prices in the system. Make various sizes of price tags, and ensure price tags and signage are correctly labeled


• Process online orders according to company procedures


• Maintains clean, organized work areas, and comply with internal procedures


• Perform other duties as for business needs

Employment Type: Part Time/Full Time

The pay range for this job starts from $15.92 / Hr. - $17 / Hr. This is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) the responsibilities of the job, your education, skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
