Job Summary

Performs cashier duties, including cash transactions, verifying cash drawer, giving change, counting receipts, and completing reports. May also perform general food service work. Maintains sanitation standards in all areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Performs sales transactions efficiently.
2. Enters sales into the register accurately.
3. Makes change, accepts various payment methods, and issues receipts.
4. Follows procedures for refunds.
5. Interacts with customers and resolves complaints courteously.
6. Manages change funds and cash receipts in accordance with standards.
7. Monitors customer purchases and maintains portion standards.
8. Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness.
9. Keeps pastry case stocked.
10. Ensures compliance with service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
11. Follows sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
12. Performs additional duties as assigned.
