Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of the company, processing each customer’s order quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You will handle customer payments, provide product information, resolve complaints, and assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting. You should maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, direct customers to products, and stay informed about store events and seminars. Maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area and executing other related duties as assigned are also essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Exhibit an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, scanners, and calculators.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of performing repetitive activities, multitasking, prioritizing, and staying organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs. of force.
• Proficient in cash handling, mathematical skills, and attentive to detail.
