At Wegmans, our cashiers ensure customers leave with a positive experience. In this role, you’ll provide excellent customer service at both traditional checkout and self-checkout lanes, leaving a lasting impression and fostering customer loyalty.

What will I do?

• Engage customers with friendly conversation, eye contact, and smiles; proactively offer assistance and thank customers for shopping at Wegmans.
• Scan items and process payments efficiently and accurately at the register.
• Bag items properly to ensure they arrive in the same condition they left the store.
• Manage traffic flow at self-checkout, assist customers with system troubleshooting, and ensure lanes are operational.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workspace.
