Responsibilities

As a Cashier, you are the face of Sprouts Farmers Market, processing customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete satisfaction through friendly service. Your responsibilities include handling cash, credit/debit payments, giving product information, resolving complaints, assisting with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting. You will also maintain knowledge of weekly ads, direct customers to products, stay informed about store events, and communicate effectively with management. Ensuring checkout areas are clean and orderly and executing other duties as assigned are also part of your role.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of cashiering experience.
• Exhibit an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Dependability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs., and move grocery carts requiring a force of up to 35 lbs., for up to 50 hours.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in cash handling, math skills, and the ability to read, write, and count.
