Job Description: Cashier at Kroger

Join our team as a Cashier and create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Your role is to process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling various tenders such as Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, Rain checks, and coupons according to company policy.
• Understanding and adhering to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs), and pricing discrepancies.
• Following established policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and promotional ads.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Creating a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
• Complying with all relevant laws and company guidelines, and managing conflict professionally.
• Supporting diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Qualifications:
