Job summary

Goodwill Kentucky is seeking a high-energy Cashier to join our team, aligning with our values of Dignity, Service, Hope and Partnership. This full-time role supports our retail store operations, delivering excellent customer service while processing transactions at the register.

The position offers $12.00 per hour with hours Monday through Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, and opportunities to grow through 403(b) contributions, tuition reimbursement and other benefits described in our plan.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of customer service and/or production experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete transactions, handle money in all forms responsibly and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases.
  • Sort, grade, process, stock shelves and sale of used donated goods.
  • Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform basic housekeeping duties to keep cleanliness of the store.
  • Follows all Company policies and procedures.

Pay: $12.00 / hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Essential Duties and Tasks:

  • Complete transactions, handle money in all forms responsibly and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases.
  • Sort, grade, process, stock shelves and sale of used donated goods.
  • Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service.

Education and Experience:

  • 1 year of customer service and/or production experience preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift/carry 10 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
