Job summary

Goodwill Kentucky is seeking a high-energy, positive, team-minded Cashier to join our retail team in Lexington. This role supports our mission by handling transactions and helping customers with a friendly, service-oriented approach.

Pay is $12.00 per hour. This is a full-time position with Shift B from 1:00pm to 9:30pm, operating hours 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Monday through Sunday. You will contribute to stock, merchandising, and a clean, welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete transactions, handle money in all forms responsibly and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases.
• Sort, grade, process, stock shelves and sale of used donated goods.
• Maintains a positive shopping experience by providing excellent customer service.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to keep cleanliness of the store.
• Follows all Company policies and procedures.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift/carry 10 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store.
